ABOUT US

The Reformation Church Inc. is a national association of churches of under the leadership of the Senior Bishop, Bishop John W. Haynes, Prelate.

The basic teaching of this church and it’s beliefs are in the sovereignty and holiness of the almighty God, the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the son, water and spiritual baptism in the Holy Ghost and the Word of God as the only means of rebirth and spiritual regeneration which is necessary to obtain eternal life.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT GOD

We believe that God is revealed in nature, providence, conscience and the Word. He is revealed in nature as a Creator and Sustainer; in providence as the Administrator and Regulator; in Conscience as Law Giver and Arbiter and in the Word as giver and sustainer of all life both natural and spiritual. (St. John 1:1-5).

We believe that salvation is of God through Christ. He is our strong deliver. (St. John 3:16).

By his Grace are we saved through faith, and that not of ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8).

We believe that God is that infinitely great, intelligent and free being of perfect goodness, wisdom and person. He is transcendently glorious in holiness. He created the universe and is the sole support of it. He governs and directs it by His eternal providence and Power. We believe that God is a spirit, an invisible being of intelligence and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. (St. John 4:23-24).

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT FALLEN NATURE

Man by nature is sinful. He has fallen from a glorious and righteous State from which he was created, and become unrighteous and unholy. Therefore, to be restored back to his former estate from whence he has fallen, must be born again according to (St. John 3:7)

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT SALVATION

We believe that salvation comes when a man believes the truth of the gospel "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:16).

Salvation is the deliverance from dangers, enemies and death. In it’s ordinary use, the word is used to denote deliverance from sin through faith in Christ and the Gospel as the power of God. This Faith within the believer brings salvation from sin, shame and disgrace. (Mark 16:15-16).

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Holy Bible contains all things necessary to Salvation and is a complete and infallible guide and standard of authority in all matters of religion and morals; therefore, what ever it teaches is to be believed and what ever it commands is to be obeyed, and what ever it condemns is to be renounced as both wrong and sinful, and what ever is not read therein, nor may be proven thereby, is not to be answerable by any man as necessary to salvation. (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE TRINITY and ONENESS

We absolutely do not believe that there are three Gods. We believe there is but one. Scripture does not contain the word Trinity, yet, an indication of three distinct persons can be found in (1 John 5:7).

We believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three separate entities of God which perform separate works and that their unity is not necessarily physical, but in purpose. God is the father being supreme, Christ is the son, the sacrificial lamb and only begotten son of God and the Holy Ghost is the comforting, teaching, interceding and indwelling spirit of truth.
